Blue is was created from the inspiration and beauty that our earth gives to us. This means we make sustainability a priority through each creation as much as we can. Proceeds from markets and events go towards removing plastic from our beautiful waterways through the non-profit organization The Ocean Blue Project. Their mission is to restore and rehabilitate earth’s water ways. They recovered over 192,000 pounds of plastic since 2012, every one dollar donated removes a pound of plastic. The project aligns with our values and promises through its emphasis on plastic restoration and up-cycling. 

Blue also utilizes recycled and reused packaging in order to ship all online orders in order to cut carbon footprint as your gems are delivered to your door. We also ensure that our collection of gemstones and seaglass are sourced sustainably from small batches on beaches and local small businesses.

What we hope to incorporate in 2023-2024:

• donating proceeds towards more ocean restoration organizations.

• cutting down waste of sterling silver scraps through donation.

• sourcing recycled sterling silver for all soldered designs in order to decrease our carbon footprint that silver production causes.

• sourcing jump rings and wire from local small businesses to support the cause of a steady economy.

• spreading awareness of designs that do not capitalize off of trends, rather creating timeless pieces that overall support a sustainable lifestyle.
