About Blue

Ellie Evans, Founder of Blue

Ellie Evans began Blue in 2022 after finding all of the seaglass her family used to collect and began to brainstorm a way to make it wearable art. Always having a passion for expression through style Evans sought out to develop necklaces that would make customers feel the same way she did. Making jewelry in the city of Charleston has grown her inspiration even further, surrounded by people with brilliant ideas and passion everyday.

Blue has developed into seaglass and pottery rings through silversmithing as well as more genuine gemstone necklaces through wire wrapping. Finding a passion for wearable art that can be shared with customers across the world is the vision that Evans has always strived to achieve. She often finds love fueled passion through her family, yoga, or just even looking outside at the beautiful world around her.

Blue began when the love for jewelry met coastal childhood memories. Our mission is to create jewelry made from materials crafted by the earth naturally before entering the studio.

Creating handmade designs that are made with the upmost intention and love is extremely important to us. We want to pass our love for the world and each other from our hearts to pieces you wear closest to yours.

Here at Blue we value the earth heavily, donating proceeds from markets towards the Ocean Blue Project to remove one pound of plastic from the ocean with every dollar donated.
